Grilled Corn

The weekend is here! I hope yours is filled with relaxation and joy from life's moments both big and small. Here's a quick and easy side dish to make before the summer is out.

Grilled Corn

Turn on the grill (for gas grills) or ignite the charcoal. Meanwhile, peel back the husks of the corn and remove all silk (these are the thin translucent threads covering the kernels). Then pull the husks back into place. Soak in water for a few minutes to prevent the husks from catching on fire. Grill for 15 to 20 minutes, turning every five minutes to ensure even cooking.

Remove from the husks and serve. My favorite combo for corn (and popcorn) is butter and Old Bay seasoning. Grilled corn goes well with other grilled foods (obviously), but would also be a tasty addition to Mexican dishes or seafood spreads.
