Last Minute Gifts

It is officially Christmas in an hour and I'm still wrapping presents. Nothing like waiting until the last minute huh? Well I know some people who are even further behind than me and still have to purchase gifts. If the holiday season snuck up on you this year, I have a few last minute gift ideas that don't require you to leave the comfort of your own home.

You can purchase a gift card online to just about anywhere from clothing stores to restaurants to movie theaters. It can be printed out within minutes and your shopping is completely done with the click of a mouse.

Make something

Whether you're a great baker or have a knack for crafting, create something you love for the ones you love with supplies you already have in the house. Because of the time crunch, do yourself a favor and don't make something you haven't created before.

As I discussed previously, I love giving out homemade coupons as gifts for things ranging from massages to cleaning to babysitting. My downloadable coupons from an earlier post are ready to be printed and used.

A thoughtful card

Sometimes the best gift you can give is the gift of honesty. Write a heartfelt card telling someone how much they mean to you and the absence of a tangible gift will be completely forgotten.

I've written about gift giving a few times so far, but the important thing to remember is that the holiday season, no matter what religious faith you believe in, is about love and renewal, not what comes wrapped with a bow. Sweet dreams readers.
